Answer: I don't know the answer, but I can see no reason why you couldn't use prior to putting spot on prevention, but that is only my opinion. -

Answer: Most kitten treatment is 6 weeks plus. You could mix this shampoo with water to dilute it and apply then. Thats prob what i would do. :) -

Answer: It's a tick & flea shampoo for cats, dogs, puppies & kittens. I washed my kitten with it as per instructions. It killed the fleas and didn't harm my kitten. first time. It works. -

Answer: I got it to kill tick however it did not work on my kitten however it is really good for her dry skin patches she had. -

Answer: I have used this shampoo on my cavalier King Charles when she is scratching a bit too often and being mostly black it is difficult to see whether she has tick lice or fleas. This shampoo washes out any fleas, ticks, lice, mites & eggs from your dogs coat. I don't know if this shampoo kills the fleas, but it must do something to wash all the flea stages out of the fur and also those horrible ticks you get in the summer. I have never seen a tick, louse or flea on my girl so can honestly say it works for me. All the nasty insects go down the plug hole. -

Answer: I don't know about killing ticks but I know it kills fleas. -

My dog doesn't have fleas but has a little bit of dry skin, can I still use this shampoo?
Answer: Certainly because it soothes the skin from being itchy which is caused by dry flaky skin. -

How often should I apply this to my cat?
Answer: Its shampoo so would need a bath. I got a comb for my cats, I bathed and washed with this shampoo then combed the next day and everyday for a week and used hoover powder round the house to get on top of fleas. I also put flea spot on the day after their bath after I had combed them. I only ever use this shampoo when my cats get fleas bad. But combing often prevents this. My dogs however I bathed them day 1 and then again two weeks later also putting flea stuff on them. The day after their bath. I also use a comb on them and washed their beds. (When combing fleas put put them in a bowl of fairy and water as it kills them). Leave shampoo on fur for at least 5 mins and you should see them drop off dead when rinsing.
