O2 Classic Pay as you go Classic PAYG

The O2 Classic Pay as You Go SIM has garnered a mixed reception among users. The core appeal of this product lies in its straightforward and economical tariff, which is particularly advantageous for light users or those who prefer not to be tied to a rolling contract. Customers have reported clear and competitive pricing: 3p per minute for calls, 2p per text, and 1p per megabyte of data. Users have appreciated the flexibility of topping up through the O2 app or website, although some experience challenges during this process, particularly newer users trying to set up their accounts. Many reviews mention the hassle-free experience once the SIM card is activated, with several customers successfully utilizing the service without significant issues. They commend the ongoing value of this Pay As You Go option, particularly noting that the credit does not expire as long as there’s at least one call made every three months, making it an excellent option for emergency backup phones or light use. On the flip side, some customers have encountered difficulties when trying to top up their credits, expressing frustration over ineffectual customer service interactions. Reports of problems with the helpline, particularly regarding language barriers and inability to resolve issues in a timely manner, have contributed to negative feedback. In a few cases, users found it challenging to accomplish their goals without visiting a physical O2 store, highlighting a potential barrier for those who may have difficulty accessing brick-and-mortar locations. Overall, while the O2 Classic PAYG SIM offers commendable service for its intended use, the experience can vary significantly based on individual circumstances—particularly with the technical process of topping up and customer support. **
