Editorial Review
Luna Loves Books is a charming children’s board book by Joseph Coelho, where Luna dons a unicorn costume for a school event featuring a visiting author and illustrator. The story revolves around Luna’s day filled with excitement until her costume unexpectedly tears, which brings a moment of sadness. However, Luna's father introduces a whimsical solution involving magical potato art, which ultimately brightens her spirits and showcases creativity. The pages are filled with delightful illustrations, illuminating various book character outfits worn by Luna's classmates, making it visually captivating and enriching for young readers. The story not only celebrates imagination and the joy of books but also emphasizes problem-solving and creativity in overcoming challenges.
