SWHstore Servos & Parts Editorial Review
The SWHstore 2pcs 385 DC 6v-24V Micro Strong Magnet Carbon Brush DC Motor is reviewed as being a solid, quiet, and lightweight motor that is suitable for DIY toy projects. It has been tested at 0.7 watts at 6 volts and weighs 62.6g. The torque values are around 65 g/cm and you can reverse the polarity to run the motor in the opposite direction. It can also be used to make a windmill school project to generate electricity. The motor does not run slow, but can be used with a gearbox for slow speeds. Overall, customers are impressed with the quality and price of the motor. However, some note that it is not as powerful as they would like for certain projects. One customer warns against attempting to make a home made Tesla with multiple motors and batteries. Another customer notes that it is a direct fit for a Dri Buddi clothes dryer and perfect for model making needs. Others appreciate that paired with a PWM, it gives full control.
