The stand has a 12'' inch height from the table surface. The upper arm needs to be parallel to the desk surface to make the phone face down at a table. The stand isn't hard to travel with since the Long Arm can be folded to reduce down almost entirely flat. The stand doesn't require any assembly, and the user manual has instructions on usage. Although the stand has received generally positive reviews, some reviewers have complained about receiving a faulty product, and there's not a replacement part for it. Furthermore, some reviewers have found the adjustments to be very restrictive. However, some customers used it daily for eight months, and it has held up well.
