- In 1970, a young, unknown Florida rock band arrived at Muscle Shoals Sound Studios to record a demo tape for a possible album. These initial recordings included the original studio versions of many Skynyrd classics (Free Bird, Gimme Three Steps, I Ain't the One, etc.), providing an early glimpse of their evolving sound. The 1st ever release of their true debut LP features 75 minutes of hot early Skynyrd, including 6 unreleased recordings and 2 unreleased songs.
