Dometic Coolers 97000066528 Editorial Review
The Dometic Recon Soft Sided ZL Cooler has received mixed reviews from customers that reveal both its strengths and weaknesses. On the positive side, many users appreciate the cooler's Construction quality, stylish design, and thoughtful features. The cooler's dual-hinge, snap-on lid allows for easy access and cleaning, while the magnetic handle offers convenience, albeit with some reported issues. The spacious interior can accommodate larger items like wine bottles, making it suitable for various outings, from beach trips to boating. Users particularly noted its thermal efficiency, claiming it keeps contents cold for an extended period, comparable to more expensive coolers. However, some customers criticized the cooler's insulation performance, asserting that it does not maintain cold temperatures as effectively as expected for its premium price point, leading to frustrations with melting ice too quickly. Additionally, sizing discrepancies were mentioned, with some users finding it smaller than anticipated. While the cooler’s design received accolades, the high cost was often highlighted as a deterrent, especially when compared to more budget-friendly alternatives that outperform it in keeping items cool. In sum, the Dometic Recon Soft Sided ZL Cooler appeals to those who prioritize aesthetics and ergonomic features, but it may not meet the expectations for stringent cooling performance, particularly for those who are used to higher-end cooler brands. **
