Aluminum Tailgate Protector Kit for 2019-2024 GMC Chevy Series Trucks

The Aluminum Tailgate Protector Kit for GMC and Chevy 2500 and 3500 series trucks presents a range of customer experiences that reflect both its strengths and weaknesses. Customers praise the product's rugged aluminum Construction, which gives it a high-quality feel and the promise of durability. Additionally, several reviews commend its straightforward installation, facilitated by a simple two-sided sticky tape method for application. However, these positive aspects are quickly overshadowed by significant design and adhesion concerns. Many users noted that the product does not fit the contours of their tailgates properly, leading to issues such as paint chipping during installation. The adhesive has also received Considerable criticism, with multiple reports of it failing to hold the protector in place, causing it to fall off quickly after installation. Some users even expressed concern that the product, while intended to protect, could ultimately end up damaging their vehicles due to poor fit and weak adhesion. In summary, while the Aluminum Tailgate Protector Kit boasts solid material quality and ease of installation, its inadequate fit and inferior adhesive quality detract from its overall effectiveness. Many customers indicate a desire for improvements in these areas before they would recommend the product for protecting their vehicles. **
