Create your own weather center with a hyperlocal weather forecast 12 hours from your current conditions — more high-tech than a storm glass and a feature only the best weather station can boast! When equipped with a lightning sensor (sold separately), the AcuRite Atlas measures lightning strikes detected up to 25 miles away. A perfect gift for Christmas, Father’s Day, and Birthdays, this weather tech gadget is perfect for smart-home optimization. The outdoor sensor takes four (4) AA batteries (not included), and the HD display is AC powered and uses three (3) AAA batteries for backup purposes only (batteries not included). This weather station comes with a one-year limited warranty.
