The 1/4in guitar input on the front of the unit is powered by a JFET as a preamp, which in comparison to other interfaces has impressed users the most. The accompanying program GUI is pretty straightforward and simple as well. A major limitation is the inability to use the line outputs and the headphones at the same time, which has caused most users to return the unit. It is also not supported on iOs despite being advertised. Customers have complained about flimsy build quality, terrible support from Audient, and problems when using phantom power with an increase in noise in their recordings. Overall, the quality and affordability of this product make it a worthwhile purchase for most, but with the caveat of its limitations.
