Passionate filmmakers appreciate that the lens performs well when paired with the correct apps, especially when utilizing anamorphic de-squeeze features. For example, one user indicated the importance of utilizing a proper case with a T-Mount for optimal usage and advised against using a clip that may obscure the phone screen. Others have reported dissatisfaction with specific features, including issues with filter fitting—where filters did not screw on tightly due to oversized lens threads—and a perceived lack of quality control on some SMALLRIG items, raising concerns about overall reliability. The variety of customer experiences highlights both the advantages of the lens, such as affordability and functionality when used correctly, alongside possible hindrances like compatibility frustrations and inConsistent quality. This lens may serve experienced users well, particularly those who are knowledgeable about mobile filmmaking setups, but it might not meet the expectations of those with less experience or those relying on flawless compatibility with other accessories.
