Answer: I don't like to wear these without socks. They don't have holes for ventilation so my feet will frequently get a little sweaty. I don't notice this when I wear socks because I think I sweat less with the socks on since my skin is not in direct contact with the rubber. Very cushy heel, I have suffered from Plantar Fasciitis on and off for several years AND I can wear my orthotics in these! However, not stable on rocky, grassy or any unstable surfaces...you are more prone to roll your ankle on these surfaces in these shoes...just my experience. -

If you are a half size, should you size up or down?
Answer: I have a size 7 in the shoe and it fits perfectly. I would go up if you are a half size, only because there won't be much room if you go down. They still might be a bit roomy but going down a size would for sure be too small. Hope that helps!
