Is a remote needed for the timer function?
Answer: The Taper comes with a default 5-hour timer setting. To set a timer simply push the power button of the bottom of the candle two times then the taper will stay on for 5 hours and turn off for 19 hours and it will repeat the same time frame On for 5 hours and Off for a 19-hour cycle the next day.
