Answer: I wouldn’t. The bed/car seat is small. My Shih Tzu is 5.8 lbs and fits her perfectly. This bed/car seat, while cute, would not be a durable or safe for a 50 lb. dog. -

Answer: The sides go up about 10” & the inside is about 9x9. Depending on the dog but a 15lb dog seems a little big for this. -
