The Fender American Standard Deluxe Bass Guitar Tuners RH Set has garnered a mix of praise and some critical feedback from customers who have used them. Many users appreciate the high quality of these tuners, highlighting their smooth action and impressive gear ratio, which contribute to precise tuning. The robust design appears to enhance the overall playability of Fender bass guitars, especially on higher-end models. However, potential buyers should be aware of the installation challenges. Customers report that installing these tuners is not straightforward, particularly if their bass neck is not already configured for two-pin tuners. A jig is required for drilling, and users must create shallow holes for optimal seating of the tuners. Additionally, there is a noted lack of instructional material from Fender itself, which has led some customers to seek guidance from online tutorials. This lack of clear installation guidelines can be a hurdle for those unfamiliar with the process. Moreover, while these tuners are well-suited for American-made Fender instruments, potential purchasers need to verify compatibility with their specific bass models, as the tuners may not easily fit Squier models. Overall, if you are Considering upgrading your Fender bass guitar with these tuners, be prepared for a bit of a learning curve and double-check your instrument’s specifications. **
