Answer: The holes are about an inch or so apart, maybe inch and half. The bracket is placed vertically on a stud, at least that is the way I mounted it. Very secure. Would purchase it again. -

Answer: This is NOT a tension rod. It is installed using screws. -

Can someone please tell me what size screws go into the rod? All of the screw sizing. Mine came with no hardware
Answer: I think they are no 8, the head has to recess into the mounting. Take it with you to the hardware store, then long enough to go through the drywall or tile where you mount it onto the wall and enough length to co into stud etc., so figure 2 inches long. -
Question:
Will it resist rust?
Answer: It at once says that the substrate is “aluminum,” and yet it says that it is “chrome” plating(?). Bright polished aluminum should not need chrome plating. If fact, I don’t think it is ever done(?).
