The Legigo Natural Sphagnum Moss Potting Mix is a 2 quart sized bag of dried moss suitable for gardening plants and orchids. However, it is not recommended for carnivorous plants as it has a high TDS after soaking. Customers have reported that the moss is tightly compacted and tends to come apart in small pieces, making it unsuitable for covering floral foam or making moss poles. Additionally, some customers have found that the moss contains sticks, twigs, dirt clods, and even plastic toys. It can also leave a white residue on the fingers, and has a mildewy or unpleasant odor. Some customers have reported that it can be used to propagate plants and corms, but mold and bugs may be an issue.
