The ABC White Rigid Mailers 7 x 9 are self-seal, hard shipping envelopes made of 26 point paperboard that provide a no-bend solution for shipping documents, photos, calendars, and even CDs. These mailers are First-Class Mail approved by UPS, USPS, FEDEX, and DHL. Though they may require two first-class stamps or size-appropriate postage depending on the item enclosed, they are Considered a medium size flat rate package. The recyclable symbol is stamped on each envelope. Customers describe them as very sturdy and capable of handling various projects. However, the envelopes don't open very wide, and anything with a little bump may cause them to be a little stressed. The adhesive seems to be on the weaker side, and tape may be needed for extra durability. Another customer recommended putting a thin piece of cardboard that's as rigid as a CD as a backer for photos. A few customers noted that the mailers are not as sturdy as their other rigid mailers, but they are fairly solid when packaged up.
