The 6 Pieces Lollipop Felt Drum Stick Soft Lollipop Drum Timpani Mallets are marketed towards kids and adults as hand percussion toys. While the foam head is of good quality and adhered well to the stick, the red tips on the end of the sticks are not secure and can fall off, which could be a choking hazard for young children. A buyer also mentioned that the red balls come off on some of the sticks, which meant they had to be glued back. One buyer found that the sticks do not sound good on plastic drum sets but work well on real drum skins. Another buyer found that they were not felt, as described, but foam. Despite this, another purchased them for their toddler grandson to safely try out drumming without hurting himself or anything else. They found that the set of six was perfect in case he destroys some.
