- PEX-A expansion toolset with 25pcs 1/2 in. and 25pcs 3/4 in. expansion rings are fully compatible with F1960 standard PEX expansion system from Uponor ProPEX, Wirsbo hePEX & AquaPEX, Sioux Chief, Mr. PEX, Rehau, and other PEX-A tubing brands.
- Three expansion heads are precision engineered and processed with Wire EDM Cutting for accurate expansion. They are made from high-strength steel, the chrome-plated segments and black oxide ring combine durability and weather resistance.
- The expansion heads will rotate automatically every circle of the handles fully open and closed, which can ensure no deep grooves on the interior of the pipe which can lead to leak paths.
- The manual expander is constructed from aluminum alloy, lightweight for easy operation in narrow space or height. The cone is made from spring steel with chrome-plated for weather and corrosion resistance.
- The PEX expansion ring is constructed of PEX with good “shape memory”, which always wants to return to its natural shape after expansion. With stop edge, it ensures the ring has a 1/16-inch overlap on the end of the pipe, keeps the PEX in place during the expansion process.
