The IWISS Deutsch DT Connector Kit is an ideal tool for rewiring vehicles as it is easy to install, waterproof and provides a tight and clean connection. It comes with 94 pieces in various configurations, including 2,3,4,6,8, and 12 pins with Size 16 Stamped Contacts, perfect for creating break-out harnesses when necessary. However, the retention wedges inside the connector housings are weak and need pushing back into place before inserting the lock wedge. Additionally, the plastic is less durable than those from higher quality manufacturers, and the pins do not crimp very well, leading to the need to solder before crimping. It is crucial to take your time while crimping the pins and ensure they are correctly aligned, or else the lock may break easily. The kit works only up to 16 gauge wires and requires the suggested crimpers to work well.
