It may require some additional software, but it is almost as easy to use as a standard Atmega Arduino. It works smoothly and can 1/16 microstep four axes simultaneously, and is much faster than the Atmel 2650 Mega. The product, however, does not come with the pinout reference card that should come with all Teensy boards, and some customers have received it without the accompanying pins. Overall, the Teensy 3.6 is an excellent choice, especially for those interested in audio-related projects.
