It is recommended that those who are particular about ticking noises avoid using it on their bedside table. The clock mechanism box is suitable for 1 - 4 mm/ 1/ 24 - 4/ 25 inch thickness clock panel. The users found the directions easy to understand and subsequently put together the clock very easily. The package also comes with additional sets of hands. One user appreciated this product because it allowed her to keep her family keepsake mantle clock in a position of "honour" and still could tell the time. However, it is not without fault as some customers reported that the product stopped working only after a short period of use.
