The Kelty Outback Tent Grey is a good option for car camping. It can fit a queen-sized mattress and is easy to set up. However, it is not ideal for backpacking due to its weight and size. The rainfly is not clear but can be removed to stargaze. It is not possible to set up the poles with only the rainfly for shade. The carry sleeve is not waterproof, so it cannot be carried on the outside of a pack. The tent is not tall enough for a 5'10" person to stand up in. The tent is made in an unknown location. The rainfly cannot be dyed but can potentially be spray painted. Some customers have had positive experiences with this tent, loving the ease of set up and waterproofing. However, other customers have had issues with the tent leaking or breaking in moderate winds.
