The Kotobuki 190-803 Earthenware Rice Cooker is a versatile rice cooker that can also be used to cook other grains such as quinoa, amaranth, farro, and spelt. The standard approach to cooking rice is to soak for 20 minutes, heat over medium high heat for 20 minutes, then let stand for 20 minutes, with both covers in place. The pot has a 1.5 cup uncooked capacity, which results in 4 cups of cooked rice, perfect for two people. However, there are a few issues reported by customers, such as the lack of an English version of the instructions and the difficulty in removing burnt rice from the bottom of the pot. Additionally, the pot is not suitable for use on an induction cooktop. Overall, the Kotobuki 190-803 Earthenware Rice Cooker is a versatile and effective option for those looking to cook rice and other grains, but users should be careful not to overcook or burn the rice.
