What are Sure Grips by Ultima used for?

Sure Grips by Ultima are specifically designed to enhance your quilting and patchworking experience by providing a non-slip grip on rulers. These grip rings ensure stability and precision, preventing your ruler from sliding while cutting fabric. This is particularly useful when working with intricate designs or when accuracy is paramount. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced quilter, using these grip rings can significantly improve your workflow and results.

How do I apply the Sure Grips non-slip rings?

Applying Sure Grips is simple. Just peel off the protective layer from the 3M adhesive backing and position the ring on the corners or edges of your ruler. Ensure that the surface is clean for better adhesion. These rings create a secure grip without leaving a sticky residue, making them a reliable choice for any quilting or patchworking project. This method allows for a customized fit on any ruler you use.

What sizes do the Sure Grips come in?

Sure Grips by Ultima come in a set of 30 rings, which includes 15 large and 15 small rings. This variety allows you to choose the appropriate size that best suits your rulers and projects. The large rings are perfect for wider ruler edges, while the small ones are ideal for narrow or smaller rulers, ensuring that you have the right grip options for every tool in your sewing kit.

Are Sure Grips compatible with all rulers?

Yes, Sure Grips by Ultima are designed to work with any ruler. Their universal fit makes them versatile, allowing you to use them across a wide range of cutting tools without any limitations. This feature ensures that regardless of the brand or style of ruler you own, you can enjoy a stable and slip-free cutting experience, enhancing your productivity during quilting or patchworking.

Can I reuse the Sure Grips non-slip rings?

Sure Grips are designed for long-lasting use, but their reusability depends on the care taken during application and removal. When you're ready to replace or reposition them, gently peel them off and ensure you do not stretch the adhesive. If well cared for, you can keep using them effectively. This durability makes them a smart investment for quilters and patchworkers who regularly change their ruler setups.

Will the adhesive on the Sure Grips damage my ruler?

The 3M adhesive used in Sure Grips is strong enough to provide a secure hold yet gentle on surfaces, ensuring it won't damage your ruler. You can confidently apply and remove the grips without worrying about residue or harm to your tools. This consideration is vital for maintaining the longevity and functionality of your quilting rulers.

How do Sure Grips improve cutting accuracy?

By securely anchoring your ruler in place, Sure Grips by Ultima prevent any unintended movement during cutting. This stability enhances your cutting accuracy, reducing the chances of misaligned cuts and fabric mistakes. For quilters working on detailed designs, this increased precision can lead to superior results and professional-looking finishes, making these grips an essential addition to your sewing supplies.

Can I use Sure Grips for other crafts besides quilting?

Absolutely! While Sure Grips by Ultima are perfect for quilting and patchworking, they can also be utilized in various crafting projects that require precision cutting. Whether you're working with paper, fabric, or other materials, these non-slip rings can enhance your stability on rulers during any crafting task, making them a versatile tool for all crafters.

How do I remove Sure Grips from my ruler?

To remove Sure Grips from your ruler, you can simply peel them off gently, starting at one edge to avoid any possible stretching.
