AEM Air Intake Editorial Review
The AEM 21-793C Cold Air Intake System has received positive feedback from customers. One user praised the perfect fitment and high-quality materials used in the product. The installation instructions were described as clear and comprehensive, making the installation process smooth. However, some users did face challenges during the installation, particularly with the engine cover. One customer mentioned breaking a mount port while attempting to force the cover back onto the mounts, although it did not affect the closing of the hood. Overall, users were satisfied with the design, fit, and the improved sound output of their vehicles after installing the intake system. One user also appreciated the attention to detail in the product, noting it to be better than its competitors. However, there were concerns raised about the dyno results provided by AEM, which indicated a discrepancy in the claimed horsepower and torque gains. They highlighted that the stock dyno results did not align with the expected powertrain loss for a front-wheel-drive car. The customer expressed their intention to run their vehicle on a dyno at a tuner shop to compare the results with AEM's claims.
