The loops at each end of the hammock are strong enough to support the weight of two people and the hammock is wide enough to wrap around oneself like a blanket on windy days. The length of the hammock including the strings is about 164 inches, while the part where one lies is about 87 inches. This hammock does not work with a 15-foot hammock stand, as stretching it that long would make it too high off the ground and uncomfortable to lie in. It is designed for 12-13 feet stands. Two people can comfortably fit on this hammock, and if one is not too big, a small child can also join in. However, as with most hammocks, everyone will roll toward the heaviest person. The hammock is well made and attractive and can turn a drab balcony or backyard into a tropical paradise. It is easy to purchase online, is cheap, and can be delivered directly to your door.
