Is this a mineral sunscreen?
Answer: No. I really like Coola products but, I was not a fan of this Lip Balm. I will not be purchasing it again. Smelled horrible. -

Answer: I have mine in a beach bag by my chair and it has been fine, directly in the sun alone I’m not sure but i haven’t had any problem and love this product -

Why does it say it is reef friendly? it is not. False advertising.
Answer: All of our products comply with the Hawaii Act 104, which was passed to protect coral reefs. It means that these formulas do not contain coral-harming chemicals Oxybenzone and Octinoxate. -
Question:
Is it vegan?
Answer: NO. The list of ingredients contains beeswax. It also mentions beeswax on another part of the product page. Not vegan, not cruelty free .it's also a chemical sunscreen. -
Question:
Does this product have an after taste once you apply it? I hate sunscreen lipbalm that tastes like chemicals!
Answer: No. I haven’t experienced an after taste. -

Bonfire color?
Answer: This Liplux does not have a color and will apply sheer. -
Question:
Is this original or vanilla mint? There is conflicting information on the listing.
Answer: The ones I ordered were original. -

Why is this product advertised as reef friendly when it still contains ingredients that negatively impact the coral reefs?
Answer: The Reef Friendly icon found on our Classic Collection will note that these sunscreens are Reef Friendly per the Hawaii State Legislature Bill guidelines that prohibit the use of Octinoxate and Oxybenzone, two ingredients we no longer use in our sunscreens. We definitely suggest checking out our Mineral line of sunscreens for those who would prefer physical active ingredients like Zinc Oxide and Titanium Dioxide.
