In terms of dimensions, the 30-quart pot is 11.5 inches high and 15 inches in diameter, while the 20-quart pot is app. 10 inches at the top opening (without handles) and 9 inches in height without lid. Customers have also noted that the bottom of the pot is nice and flat and should work fine on the top of a glass top cook stove. It is a great pot for making soup for a large group of people, but it does not come with a canning rack.
