Pennington Smart Seed Dense Shade Grass Seed, 3 lb (100086851)

** Pennington 100086851 Grass Seed** The Pennington 100086851 Grass Seed has received a mix of positive and lukewarm feedback from customers, who have shared their experiences with growing this grass variety under varying conditions. Designed specifically for dense shade, this seed performs creditably in locations with little sunlight. Many users have successfully cultivated lush patches of grass even in areas that receive very limited direct sun, such as under bushes or beside walls. While it germinates relatively well when planted under appropriate temperatures, some customers did note longer-than-expected germination times, indicating a level of variability that could be frustrating for those eager to see results. The users who properly tended to their grass seed found that, once established, the grass requires less watering, thriving even in harsh summertime heat and maintaining its vitality through the winter months. This adaptability is particularly appealing to those living in climates with extreme weather conditions. However, there has been feedback suggesting that the seed coverage rate may be overly optimistic; many recommend purchasing more than what is advertised, especially in shadier areas where the grass tends to grow thinner. Several customers have emphasized the ease of growth associated with this product, stating that it does not necessitate frequent mowing, which can be advantageous for busy homeowners. However, some users experienced dissatisfaction due to germination issues and difficulty in establishing any visible growth after prolonged waiting periods. This led to some disillusionment, particularly from experienced gardeners who had hoped for reliable results. Overall, the Pennington Grass Seed appears to deliver on its promises to create a contented lawn in shaded environments, provided users are patient and realistic about their expectations regarding coverage and seed performance. **
