The boots run narrow, so opening up the laces is necessary. And while they are heavy, they are worth the investment in terms of comfort, support and durability. They have even helped alleviate foot pain compared to other work boots. However, they can be too hot in warm weather and may cause rashes. They are also expensive, and the inside arch support can cause pressure points on the sides of the feet. Breaking them in is important as they can hurt if not broken properly. After breaking in, they are amazing boots. They need regular cleaning and polishing to keep looking new.
