The kit includes wood for Construction, 4-bladed props, a plastic cowling, peel and stick decal sheet, grey tissue paper, plan sheet with instructions, and vacuum-formed floats. The kit requires a hobby knife, razor blade, canopy scissors, paint for cowling, sandpaper, white glue for attaching covering, and dope for shrinking the tissue. Some customers have reported difficulty with sub-standard balsa pieces, vague assembly instructions, and unresponsive customer service. However, others found the kit to be a great value and a fun build. One customer used silver plasti-dip to spray the plastic pieces and found that they looked like the real deal. While the kit is marketed as a flying model, it does not include any motors or mechanisms for flight.
