Does the compact version accommodate an extra mouthpiece? Or just the one?
Answer: YES there are slots for 2 mouthpieces and the pouch on the outside can hold valve oil, slide grease, pencils and extra mouthpieces in a case. I also put a chamois, screwdriver and extra string in that pouch. -

Will this case fit in the overhead storage or under the seats on airplanes?
Answer: Yes. I flew many flights throughout the U.S.A. and Europe when I had this case and I had no issues taking it on the plane. It fits in the overhead storage area except for one time when I was on a small, domestic flight. In that instance, I put it under the seat. No problems! -

Will an Alexander 103 fit?
Answer: I'm pretty sure it would, especially since the 103 has a slightly smaller wrap and a slightly smaller bell. There are adjustable features inside the case, so it should fit. The only part that may require some adjustment is because of my clebsch strap. -

Would it fit a King Eroica?
Answer: I'm not sure, but it is a snug fit for my son's Yamaha 5_ _. The case is adjustable and fits in most airplanes, although there may be some difficulty with the overhead storage on a single width row. -

Will a Yamaha 671D fit this case?
Answer: It should fit. I have a Yamaha 861 and it fits. -

Answer: Both the body of the horn and the bell are protected by a very durable and hard shell. The case has withstood harsh treatment without scratching the horn. It fits all airline regulations for carry-ons. However, I wouldn't trust ANY case underneath the plane. -

What are the dimensions of the outside?
Answer: The exterior dimensions are approximately 24w x 7d x 16h inches. -

Does this come with the backpack straps? If not, how can I order them?
Answer: No, the backpack straps are not included and need to be purchased separately. You should be able to buy them where you bought the IPAC case.
