The Dremel Engraver Rotary Tool is a powerful vibrating engraver that is suitable for light printing on metal. It comes with a letter/number template to help etch words and numbers. The tip is made of carbide steel, which has a higher hardness rating than granite, and combined with steady hands, it can engrave on granite surfaces. The tool comes in a nice box, but the line cord has memory and is difficult to use because of the hard plastic insulation that stays curled. The set screw that holds the tool in place is difficult to loosen, and it requires a narrow blade and long handle screwdriver to operate. The bit screw also appeared stripped, and the screwdriver was not long enough to insert the set screw correctly. Despite these issues, the product generally works fine for most users, as it is an efficient and cost-effective tool that can fulfil their engraving needs.
