    Answer: My copy has its copyright asserted for 2015 and 2020. I have not been able to find a specific edition number
  • Question: Does the book list the toxicity and health risks of each type of wood?

    Answer: It does list basic information on health hazards relating to the particular timber. There is no in-depth medical description, nor is that needed. Research cellulosis of the lungs to expand your knowledge, all dust, if you wear no mask can be problematic.
  • Question: I inherited a pile of nicely milled lumber of various woods. I don't know what wood is what. Will this book help?

    Answer: Most definitely. To get an actuate identification, try sanding an area of the wood will help get a clear picture. Also, any cabinet making place or lumber yard will be a helpful resource to.

    Answer: There are 255 pages, not counting the bibliography and index pages of which there are 6 pages. Very informative book. Only wish it had pictures of the trees the wood came from and pictures of their leaves.

  • Question: Is there a plan to have another book that focuses on the identifying factors of these types of wood ?(like the leafs bark and region.)

    Answer: That would be nice, but have no idea how you could find out.

    Answer: Yes Janka hardness on page 253 Appendix A and page 41 tells about the Janka Hardness- Very good book.

    Answer: Hard cover with lots of information. Good book.
