About This Item
Looking for a high-quality, customizable throttle cable kit for your motorcycle? Look no further than the Venhill U01-4-100-BK Universal Motorcycle Throttle Cable Kit. This kit is designed to be suitable for nearly any motorcycle throttle application, and features 1.35 meters of black PVC coated, spiral wound, Teflon-lined outer conduit and 1.6 meters of galvanized steel wire (7 x 7 strand). One end of the inner wire comes equipped with a carb nipple, while the opposite end can be cut to length and fitted with the desired nipple.
But be careful – we strongly discourage the use of a propane-type torch to heat and flow solder into the wire. Instead, we recommend immersing the wire ends in a molten solder bath, such as that in a solder pot. The kit even includes ferrules and adjusters, which you can bond into place or make a small indention in the side with a center punch.
You'll find brass carburettor and barrel nipples of various sizes to use as needed, along with neoprene adjuster boots to keep everything in place.
