This Dual 3.5 mm to Helicopter TP120 Adapter received mixed reception from customers. One customer tried to use it with the Bose Quiet Comfort 35ii gaming headset which has a mic, but it didn't work at all and only produced a low hiss. They had to return the product. Another customer asked if they could use the headset microphone to talk to ATC, and was told that it might work if they put the earbud microphone completely touching their lips, but that ear bud mics are not amplified. The noise from the prop is also not canceled on transmit. While one customer confirmed that the two plugs are for two Apple style earbuds, each with their own volume control.
